So I know I have been MIA for a long while but I just feel as though I need to get this out. I have been holding it in for a long time. I was told once that my dating life has not been going so great because I am afraid to get hurt so I don't put myself out there. This may be because EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I do put myself in a vulnerable position I end up getting hurt or somebody says something that make me feel like I am an idiot. So I try not to put myself in those situations and tend to curl into myself and just get through life.
It is the hardest thing to do to tell somebody your darkest secrets and fears to (even offer something very personal) and then have them just cut you out of their life. I want this person to be happy. I still care for this person and pray everyday that they get everything they want.
And I know this is the easy way out, not telling these people this but I am not one that is big on confrontations. But this is my way of letting people know how I am feeling and helping me get through this. Maybe I will do it more often than once a year!

Hopping Along
Life
So a lot (not all that much) has happened since I last posted. I have a niece and a new job. I told you it wasn't a lot. This actually only happened in the last month or so. I am not a very exciting person. I am about to move back in with my parents, for at least a little while. I currently have an apartment with my brother, sister-in-law and niece that I metioned before. My brother just got a job in a different city and so they are moving in the next couple of months for good. Since I really want to save some money and buy a house at some point in the future (hopefully soon) I am going to move back in with my parents. Not a bad thing at all! Love them! Hi, Mom!! :-) That is all that really has been going on with me. What about you?
I'm back....
....well hopefully I will keep up with it this time!
I really haven't gone anywhere, but I am just really bad and sitting down and blogging!
I have a conundrum. I want to get my hair cut but I don't know how I want it. I think I want it shorter now, but I also like being able to put it up in a ponytail.
Also, why are all the pictures of blondes?? Where are all the pictures of the brunettes?
Anyway, here are my picks. What do you guys think?
Or should I keep it the same?
I'm on the far left.

Fruit and Honey Bars
So on to my real post that I was going to do.
I was reading my Weight Watchers magazine tonight. Yes, a Saturday night I am sitting home reading a magazine....how pathetic is that. And that is another long story. Haha. Not really. But I came across a recipe that I want to try. I haven't yet because I didn't have the ingredients and I don't feel like going to the grocery at 10PM, even though the store is always empty. But here is the recipe:
1/3 C honey
2 large eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1 C old-fashioned rolled oats
1/2 C instant nonfat dry milk
1/2 C each shelled unsalted pumpkin seeds; unsweetened shredded coconut; ground flax seeds; dried apricots;, chopped; and dried cherries
1/4 C whole wheat flour
1.Preheat oven to 350. Line 9-inch square baking pan with nonstick foil.
2.Beat honey, eggs, and salt with fork in small bowl until well blended. Put oats, dry milk, pumpkin seeds, coconut, flax seeds, apricots, cherries, and flour in food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Add honey mixture to food processor and pulse until mixture is evenly moistened.
3.Transfer dough to baking pan; press into even layer with dampened fingers. Bake until center in set and edges are browned, about 20 minutes. Let cool slightly on rack, 10 minutes. Holding foil, transfer bar from pan to cutting board. Cut into 20 (1 1/2-inch) bars. Let cool completely, peel off foil.
Per serving (1 bar): 118 cal, 5g total fat, 2g sat. fat, 0g trans fat, 22mg chol, 78mg sod, 16g total carb, 10g total sugar, 2g fib, 4g prot, 10mg calc. PointsPlus value: 3
I so can't wait to try these out. I have been struggling with snacky kinds of foods. So I am for trying out something new!!

Silent Library
Has anyone ever seen the show on MTV called Silent Library? It is hilarious!! This is what the website says the show is about:
"Rarely however does the word library become part of the title of a new MTV show that has been described as "Jackass... set in an enclosed environment." Modeled after a Japanese game show, Silent Library will represent a new breed of competition format that will feature six friends, all vying for a cash prize, forced to impose unimaginable, beyond hysterical stunts on one another. With stunts ranging from brushing one's teeth with wasabi to having your face held in the path of "the slapper" (a gloved hand that rotates on an automated machine) it will be obvious to viewers that remaining silent is much easier said than done.
Within each episode, team members will repeatedly draw cards to determine who must step up to the plate to endure the next "test." The teammate who unluckily draws the skull and cross bones card will have to complete the task at hand to the satisfaction of the wise cracking host and moderator of Silent Library. Should the teammate performing the stunt not last long enough or should their friends seated beside them erupt with uncontainable laughter... the cash prize on the line will decrease."
I was sitting down to do a post for Angi from my Weight Watchers magazine, turned on the TV and it was on MTV. I wait to see what was on because it was a commercial at the time. I come to find out it was Silent Library. I would have normally changed the channel, but I saw these massive guys walking in. So naturally I stayed with it for a little bit. Haha. I come to find out they are players from the New York Giants football team. It is hilarious to see these grown, strong men get bitten on the ear by an old man with no teeth, and get kicked in the rear-end by a little girl on a swing with soccer cleats on!
